About This Treatment
This session took place at lull. in Harajuku. The menu was Full Design Light, which included removal of an existing soft gel application before the new set. The client was visiting from Israel, and her nails were handled by our nail artist Nami.
Design Points
Muted rose and a greyed blue alternate across the set, both applied sheer enough to keep the nail looking soft rather than blocked in. Two nails carry a spiral drawn in a lighter tone of the base colour, one has small green dots, and another is left pale with two thin black lines running vertically.
Each nail carries only one small element. On nails this short that restraint matters — a single line or a scatter of dots reads clearly, whereas a full pattern would have nowhere to sit.
A Note from the Visit
During the session, the client shared that she is studying counseling for people with disabilities at university. She also mentioned that gel nails are very common among girls in Israel, so getting them done in Tokyo felt like a natural part of her trip. She looked genuinely happy with how the set turned out.
Care and Style Tips
A Full Design Light set, done in soft gel, usually holds well for around three to four weeks depending on your nail growth and daily habits. To keep it looking fresh, applying cuticle oil regularly helps prevent dryness around the edges and keeps the gel flexible. When it’s time for a change, having the gel professionally removed rather than peeling it off protects the natural nail.
