About This Treatment
This session took place with our nail artist Nami. The menu was an Accent Design covering up to six nails, done as a fill-in (removal and rebalance of the existing base). No charms, stones, stickers, or extensions were added this time. Our guest was visiting us from Italy.
Design Points
The set alternates between a mocha brown chrome and a flat cream, with no nail carrying both. Grey stars are painted over the join on four nails, drawn slightly irregular rather than as a clean geometric shape.
The brown nails are finished with magnetic gel so a band of light runs through them, while the cream nails are left matte-smooth. Setting a reflective finish next to a flat one is what gives the set contrast without adding a third colour.

A Note From the Visit
This guest has come to see us around four times now, and she’s easy to talk with. She’s studying fashion at a university in Japan while also attending a language school, and she speaks Japanese, so our conversations flow naturally in both languages. She looked genuinely happy with how her nails turned out.
Care and Style Tips
A fill-in is a good option if you want to maintain a set over time rather than starting fresh at every visit. Because the base is kept and only the regrowth area is filled, it tends to be gentler on the natural nail and can be a cost-effective way to keep your nails looking neat. For an Accent Design, most people find the finish holds well for around three to four weeks with normal care. To help it last, wearing gloves for dishwashing and household chores, and applying cuticle oil daily, both go a long way. This style suits anyone who likes a clean everyday look with just a touch of personality on a few nails.
Comment From Your Nail Artist (Nami)
It’s always nice to see a returning guest, and switching between Japanese and English during the session made the time go by quickly. Working within a few accent nails means every placement counts, so I kept the balance in mind across the whole hand rather than treating each nail on its own. Seeing her react so happily to the result made the session a good one.
