Ten Different Designs on One Set | Playful Mix-Match Nail Art in Harajuku

About This Treatment

Our nailist Nami handled the session.

The guest chose Full Design Light, applied directly on natural nails with no removal or replacement needed. There were no charms, stones, stickers, or extensions added this time.

The guest was visiting from Italy.

Design Points

No two nails in this set match. Green gingham with stones, red with white polka dots and a sculpted button, a brown nail with a pink star, an apple slice, a strawberry roll cake, a swirl of cream, checked pink and yellow, and a mint nail with a silver star all appear across the ten.

Several elements are built in 3D rather than painted, so the buttons, stars and fruit sit above the surface. Holding a set like this together comes down to the palette: everything stays within the same soft, sweet colour range, so ten unrelated motifs still read as one deliberate set.

The Story Behind the Visit

The guest works in a hotel in Rome, where bright, eye-catching nails aren’t part of the everyday dress code. This visit was for a special occasion, so she went in the opposite direction and asked for plenty of design across the whole set.

She looked genuinely happy with how it turned out.

Care and Style Notes

Full Design Light on natural nails is a good fit when you want a lot of visual detail without added length or bulk. Since there are no extensions or 3D parts, it stays easy to live with day to day, and it suits people who normally keep their nails short or plain.

To help a design-heavy set last, keep the cuticle area moisturized and wear gloves for dishwashing or cleaning. With standard gel care, this kind of set generally holds its look for around three to four weeks, depending on nail growth and daily use. If you have a trip or an event coming up, a bold set like this is an easy way to mark the day without long-term commitment.

A Note from Nami

Getting to go all-out was the fun part here. When someone rarely has the chance to wear bold nails, packing the whole set with different designs feels like the right call. Balancing that many elements so they still work together as one set was the piece I paid the most attention to.
