About This Treatment
This session was a fresh application on natural nails, with no extensions or added parts.
Design Points
Translucent blocks of green, orange, pink and purple are laid across each nail with visible edges between them, so the effect reads closer to stained glass than to a blend. No two nails carry the same arrangement of colours.
The gel is kept sheer throughout, which lets light pass through the colour rather than bouncing off it. On short nails this works well — the pattern is large in scale, so it stays legible where a fine motif would not.

A Note From the Visit
Our client works as a designer on Disney attractions, so he brings a sharp eye for detail to how things look. He shared that this was his fourth trip to Japan, and this time he was here for work. Talking through the design with someone who cares about visual detail made the session an easy, relaxed conversation. He looked genuinely pleased with how the nails turned out.
Care and Style Tips
A design on bare nails without extensions or 3D parts tends to feel light and natural on the hand. Because there are no raised charms or stones, it’s less likely to catch on things during daily activities, which many people find practical when traveling.
To keep the finish looking good, apply cuticle oil regularly and avoid using your nails as tools. A simple, minimal style like this works well for anyone who wants tidy nails without a heavy or flashy look—useful for those who need a clean appearance for work or travel.
Comment From the Nail Artist (Nami)
Working with someone who designs for a living made this a fun session. He had a clear sense of what he liked, and it was easy to talk through the details together. A minimal, polish-focused design leaves nowhere to hide, so I paid close attention to keeping the surface even and the finish clean. I’m glad he was happy with it.
