About This Treatment
This nail session took place at lull. in Harajuku. The guest, visiting from Canada, chose our Full Design Custom menu. The work was done on natural nails with no removal or replacement needed, and two extensions were added. Your nail artist for the day was Mami.
Design Points
The set alternates between a denim blue and a soft pistachio green. Koi are painted on the blue nails in orange and white with flowing fins, and bamboo stems with small leaves run vertically up the green ones.
One nail carries a sculpted pink lily raised off the surface, placed where the two colours meet across the hand. The green was mixed and adjusted during the appointment until the tone was right, which is what keeps it sitting comfortably beside the blue rather than clashing with it.
The Visit
The guest came in wanting to turn a gradient area into a clean one-color finish. Getting the yellow-green right took some fine-tuning, so Mami kept adjusting the color mix until it landed on a shade the guest was happy with. She left looking pleased with the result.
Care and Style Notes
A one-color finish like this is easy to live with day to day. Because the color sits evenly across the nail, small chips or regrowth tend to be less noticeable than on busy patterned designs, which makes it a practical choice for travelers on the move. To keep the finish looking fresh, apply cuticle oil daily and avoid using your nails as tools. Extensions can add length where your natural nails need a little help, so this kind of design suits anyone who wants a tidy, uniform look without heavy decoration.
