About This Treatment
This session was handled by our nail artist Nami. The client visited us from the United States. The menu was a magnet gel design, and the appointment included removal of a previous soft gel application before the new set was created.
Design Points
A single steel blue runs across all ten nails with a mirror chrome finish, so the surface reflects rather than absorbs light. The colour shifts between grey and blue depending on the angle of the hand.
There is no art anywhere in the set. Chrome work of this kind depends on the base being completely smooth before the powder goes on — any unevenness underneath shows up immediately in the reflection.
Care and Style Notes
Magnet gel wears much like a standard gel manicure, with a typical hold of around three to four weeks depending on nail growth and daily habits. To keep the shine sharp, avoid harsh scrubbing and use gloves for cleaning or dishwashing. Applying a little cuticle oil each day helps the surrounding skin stay in good condition. This style suits anyone who wants depth and movement without extra decoration, and it works well for both short and longer nail lengths. When it’s time for a change, we recommend proper salon removal to protect the natural nail.
Comment from Your Nail Artist
The interesting part of magnet work is that the same color never looks quite the same twice. The direction of the light band depends on how the magnet is placed, so I worked to line up the shimmer neatly across each nail. Our client looked genuinely pleased with the result, which made the session a happy one to finish.
