About This Treatment
Our nailist Mami worked on a Full Design Custom set. The guest, visiting from Germany, came in with natural nails, so no removal was needed. The set included ten extensions to build the length and shape for the design.
Design Points
Turquoise nails with white polka dots sit alongside sheer nails printed with a fine white lace pattern. Two nails carry a sculpted lily in cream and pink, raised well off the surface with a stone at the centre, and gold chain and stones are set along several cuticle lines.
The original design used white where the turquoise now sits — the colour was changed at the guest’s request. Swapping it shifts the whole set from bridal-white towards something brighter, while the lace and pearl work keeps the ornate feel.

The Visit
The guest was visiting Tokyo with family during a six-week German summer break. Tokyo was one stop on the trip, with Kyoto coming up next. She chose to change the original white tone to turquoise, and looked happy with how the color turned out.
Care and Style Notes
Hand-applied extensions like these usually hold for around three to four weeks, depending on nail growth and daily use. A few habits help the set last: avoid using your nails as tools, wear gloves for cleaning or dishwashing, and apply a little cuticle oil daily to keep the surrounding skin flexible. A solid color set like this turquoise design suits anyone who wants added length and a bold, single-color statement without a lot of extra parts. It’s also a practical choice for travel, since there are no charms or stones to catch on bags or clothing.
A Note from the Nailist
Adjusting the base design toward turquoise made the whole set feel tuned to the season. Working across ten extensions gives room to keep the color even and the tip shapes consistent, which is what carries a single-tone look. It was a nice one to build, and a good match for a summer trip. — Mami
