About This Treatment
The guest chose our Accent Design menu, applied to up to six nails, and had a soft gel removal and reapplication as part of the appointment. Her nails were completed by our nail artist, Nami. Our guest was visiting from the United States.
Design Points
A champagne gold chrome covers the set, applied with magnetic gel so a soft band of light sits along each nail. Three nails are then painted with leopard markings in black and yellow, outlined rather than filled, with a white line drawn through some of the shapes.
Leaving the remaining nails plain in the chrome keeps the print from taking over. The gold underneath shows through the gaps in the markings, which is what ties the printed nails to the plain ones.
A Note From the Visit
Our guest traveled from Boston and had been looking forward to her appointment at lull. for some time. The day was hot, so she was glad to have a glass of water while settling in. Small comforts like that make the experience easier during a summer visit, and she seemed relaxed and happy throughout her time in the chair.
Care and Style Tips
Accent Design is a good option if you like a subtle look with a bit of personality on a few standout nails. Because most nails keep a simpler finish, chips and wear tend to be less noticeable than with full detailed sets. To keep soft gel looking its best, apply cuticle oil daily and avoid using your nails as tools. With regular care, a soft gel set generally holds well for around three to four weeks. When it’s time for a change, a proper soft gel removal—rather than peeling—helps protect the natural nail underneath.
