About This Treatment
This appointment was handled by our nail artist Nami. The menu was Full Design Light, which started with removing the previous soft gel before applying the new design. Our guest was visiting from Thailand.
Design Points
Full Design Light gives room for a complete look across all ten nails, built up from the base after a careful soft gel removal. The old gel was lifted cleanly so the new layer could sit smoothly, keeping the surface even and the edges neat. The result reads as a polished, wearable set rather than something loud.

A Note From the Visit
Our guest works at an architecture firm here in Japan, so the chair filled up with conversation fast. We talked about what it’s actually like to work alongside Japanese colleagues day to day, and where the small cultural gaps show up. From there the topic drifted, as it tends to, into dating and relationships. She left looking genuinely happy with how the session went.
Care and Style Notes
A soft gel removal followed by a fresh full design is a good reset when your previous set has grown out or you simply want a clean start. Soft gel is gentler to remove than harder systems, so the natural nail stays in better shape between visits. For a Full Design set, most people find the finish holds well for around three to four weeks, depending on how fast your nails grow and how much you use your hands. If you work with them a lot, keeping a little cuticle oil nearby helps the edges stay tidy. This kind of full reset suits anyone who wants a change without adding length or extra hardware.
A Word From Nami
The best part of this one wasn’t the nails, honestly, it was the talk. Hearing how someone navigates a Japanese workplace from the inside is not something I get every day, and we compared notes on the awkward and funny bits. Technically, the focus was a clean removal and an even base so the full design could go on without any lifting at the edges. Simple, but that’s where a set either lasts or doesn’t.
