About This Treatment
This set was created by our nailist Nami. The menu was a Full Design Custom applied to natural nails, with no removal or replacement needed. We added ten nail extensions to build out the length and shape. Our guest was visiting from the United States.
Design Points
Goldfish are painted on a smoky blue-grey base, drawn in orange and white with trailing fins that carry across the length of the nail. Cherry blossom branches run over the neighbouring nails in fine black line work with small pink flowers, and two nails carry a sculpted flower raised well off the surface.
The palette moves between grey-blue and a soft sage, both muted enough that the orange of the fish stays the brightest thing in the set. Gold flakes are pressed in near the cuticle on several nails.
A Note From the Visit
Our guest came in during a hot Tokyo summer, traveling with family who had come along on the trip from Las Vegas. During the appointment, the conversation turned to K-pop, and we ended up chatting about favorite groups and songs throughout the session. It made for a relaxed, lively atmosphere while the extensions were being built.

To keep them in good condition, avoid using your nails as tools and wear gloves for cleaning or dishwashing. Applying cuticle oil daily helps keep the surrounding skin flexible and the set looking fresh. Extensions with a full custom design typically hold well for a few weeks; booking a maintenance visit before regrowth becomes noticeable helps protect both the design and your natural nails.
