About This Treatment
This session took place with nail artist Nami. The menu was Accent Design, applied to up to six nails on natural nails with no removal needed. Three of the nails were finished with extensions. Our guest was visiting from the United States.
Design Points
A sage green is faded from the tip down into a sheer nude base, so the colour has no hard edge anywhere on the nail. On several nails a thin gold line is drawn along the smile line, following the curve rather than cutting across it.
One nail carries a small silver ornament near the cuticle, placed on its own rather than repeated across the set. Keeping the green soft and the metal work fine means the design stays quiet enough for everyday wear while still having something to look at.
A Note From the Visit
Our guest came in with her child alongside her. During the appointment we chatted about Seattle and a bit about her work. It was a relaxed session, and she looked genuinely pleased with how her nails turned out.
Care and Style Tips
Accent Design works well for people who want something eye-catching but not overwhelming. Because only a few nails carry the main design, it’s a good option if you prefer a cleaner, more understated look overall.
When extensions are involved, a little extra care goes a long way. Try to avoid using your nails as tools for opening or prying, since that puts stress on the extended tips. Applying cuticle oil daily helps keep both the natural nail and the surrounding skin in good condition. With normal wear, this kind of set generally holds up for around three to four weeks before a refill or adjustment is worth considering.
This style suits anyone who wants a design that stays wearable for everyday life while still standing out.
A Comment From Nami
Working with a mix of natural nails and three extensions let me shape the set with a bit more freedom. The extensions gave the accent nails a cleaner line, and I could build the design around that. It was an easy, friendly session, and I’m glad she left happy with the finish.
