About This Treatment
This set was created by our nailist Nami at lull. in Harajuku. The menu was Full Design Light, applied to natural nails with no prior gel to remove. Ten gel extensions were added to build length. The client was visiting from the United States.
Design Points
The focus here was on shape and length rather than heavy decoration. Using ten extensions, Nami extended the natural nails to a comfortable length and refined the outline for an even, balanced look across both hands. The result reads as clean and effortless, the kind of finish that pairs with almost any outfit and suits day-to-day wear.
The Visit
Our client is a Filipino-American college student with an easygoing manner. During the appointment the conversation turned to K-pop, and she also shared a bit about life and current affairs in the Philippines. It made for a relaxed session, and she looked genuinely happy with how the set came together.
Care & Style Notes
Gel extensions are a good option when you want a little more length than your natural nails allow, without waiting for them to grow out. To keep them looking their best, apply cuticle oil daily to keep the surrounding skin supple, and avoid using your nails as tools when opening things. With normal wear, a set like this typically holds well for around three to four weeks before a fill or replacement is worth booking. A pared-back design like this one tends to suit people who want something polished but low-maintenance, and it works nicely for travel since it stays easy to live with day to day.
