About This Treatment
This session took place with nail artist Mami. The chosen menu was Full Design Light, applied to natural nails with no removal or replacement needed. Our guest was visiting from the United States.
Design Points
Each nail carries a flower painted in a wash of colour rather than in outline — blue, sage green, cream and a soft grey, bleeding into the base the way watercolour does on wet paper. A few nails are left as plain colour with no flower.
The petals are suggested with fine white line work over the top rather than being drawn first and filled in. Keeping every colour muted means ten different flowers still read as one continuous set across both hands.

A Note from the Visit
Our guest is originally from New York and mentioned that the trip over to Harajuku felt like a bit of a haul. This appointment was one of her final stops in Tokyo, and she left looking happy with the result.
Care and Style Tips
Full Design Light on natural nails is a good choice when you want a full look without the extra length or weight of extensions. Because it works with your own nail shape, it tends to feel comfortable for everyday tasks. To help the finish last, try to keep hands moisturized and wear gloves for dishwashing or cleaning. Using cuticle oil daily also helps the edges stay neat. This style suits anyone who prefers a subtle, low-maintenance option, and it’s an easy pick if you’re traveling and don’t want to fuss over your nails.
Comment from Your Nail Artist (Mami)
It was nice to fit in a set for a guest on her last day in Tokyo. Working on bare nails means every detail sits right on the surface, so I focused on keeping the application even and clean across all ten nails. A simple, wearable finish felt right for someone heading straight into a travel day.
