About This Treatment
This set was created by our nailist Mami at lull. in Harajuku. The menu was Full Design Light, applied on natural nails with no removal or replacement needed. Our guest visited us from Poland.
Design Highlights
The starting point for this look was a reference photo the guest brought in. Rather than reaching for ready-made shades, Mami mixed every color from scratch to line up with the tones in that image. Blending colors by hand allows for fine adjustments—shifting a shade slightly warmer or cooler, or softening its intensity—until it sits close to the original picture. The result is a full-nail design tuned to one specific palette rather than a set of standard bottle colors.
The Visit
The guest came in with a saved photo of a design she had in mind. The main focus of the appointment was reproducing those colors as faithfully as possible. When the finished set was revealed, she looked genuinely delighted with how close it landed to what she had pictured.
Care and Style Notes
Full Design Light on natural nails is a good fit if you want a complete, colored look without extensions or heavy structural work. A few general pointers help this kind of gel set last: apply cuticle oil daily to keep the skin around the nail supple, wear gloves for dishwashing and cleaning, and avoid using your nails as tools to pry things open. With reasonable care, a gel set of this type typically holds its finish for around three weeks before regrowth at the base becomes noticeable. This menu suits travelers who want a polished set that photographs well but is easy to live with day to day.
A Note from the Nailist
Color matching from a photo is one of the more satisfying parts of this job for me. Screens and lighting can make a shade look different from how it prints or paints, so I test small amounts, hold them against the reference, and adjust before committing to the nail. Getting a mixed tone to sit right next to the image the guest is holding is the moment I aim for every time.
