About This Treatment
This set was created by our nailist Mami. The menu was Full Design Light, applied on natural nails with no removal or replacement beforehand. Our guest was visiting from Canada. She asked for a colorful look, and Mami built the design around that request.
Design Points
The colors were chosen to feel bright and playful. To keep it from looking flat, Mami added a soft wavy pattern across the nails. Rather than making the waves bold, she kept them understated, so they catch the eye only at certain angles. A light dusting of powder was rubbed over the surface to give a hazy, summery texture. The result reads as fun and warm without feeling heavy.

A Note from the Visit
Our guest works as a dentist back in Canada. We ended up chatting about the cost of living there, and the level of taxes genuinely surprised us. It was an easy, relaxed conversation while the color came together. She looked happy with how the set turned out.
Care and Style Tips
A design built on natural nails, like this Full Design Light set, tends to feel light and low-maintenance day to day. To help it last, keep your hands moisturized and apply a little cuticle oil around the base each day. Try to avoid using your nails as tools, and wear gloves for dishes or cleaning when you can. A textured, powder-rubbed finish like this suits anyone who wants something colorful but not too flashy — the muted surface softens brighter tones, so it works well for both casual and everyday settings.
A Word from Mami
The part I enjoyed most was the wavy line work. Keeping the waves subtle takes a bit of restraint — it’s tempting to make them stand out, but leaving them quiet is what gives the set its summer feel. Rubbing the powder over the top pulled the whole thing together. I’m glad the colorful direction landed the way she hoped.
